15日夜间本市中心城区部分区域出现大面积恶臭异味，市环保、公安等有关部门立即组织力量对相关地区进行排查，16日下午确定上海农药厂为污染源。

　　初步调查发现，电加热反应釜该厂于15日晚9点40分，由于工人操作不当，造成一生产莎稗磷（除草剂）的反应釜温度过高，发生冲料事故，阀门破裂，约有300公斤生产莎稗磷原料的混合气体泄漏。事发后，该厂及时关闭事故工艺设施，未造成进一步污染。由于15日晚气象条件不利于扩散，不锈钢反应釜事故造成本市中心区域有较大范围的刺激性气体蔓延。期间有少量市民感到不适，未造成更大影响。

　　记者从长海医院获悉，15日晚因吸入不明气体而入院治疗的2名女子经过吸氧和输液治疗后，已于16日凌晨3时许离开医院回家休养。

　　目前市政府已成立塔式起重机由有关部门组成的调查组，进一步调查事故原因，并将依法追究相关责任。

　　昨天，记者来到浦东高桥镇江心沙路，沿路有多家化工厂及农药厂，空气中还能闻到淡淡的异味。据附近居民介绍，他们对这些味道已习以为常，但前天晚上的情景却让大家着实吓了一跳。
